How it's built

How we build, whatever the fence.

  1. Posts set in concrete.

Every post, every fence. No posts tamped in dirt.

  2. Galvanized steel posts on any fence.

Ask for steel behind the cedar and that's what goes in the ground.

  3. Ring-shank galvanized nails or exterior screws.

Ring-shank nails grip the wood; galvanized nails and exterior screws are made to live outside.

  4. Gates hung on a steel frame.

Walk gates and double drive gates alike.

Ray framed houses for twelve years, then started Post Oak in 2004.

His son Mateo joined in 2016 and runs the estimates, so he is usually the one walking your fence line with a measuring wheel. There are five on the crew.

A screen preview of the color, not a match: real stain looks a little different on every board. The sample boards in the photo are the real finishes.
